A German proferror comes across a coded message which would reveal the path to the centre of the earth. He becomes obsessed with the idea about the journey. Fighting against all odds and protests, he leads his nephew and a guide, Hans, through volcanic tubes, tunnels, and a sea infested with horrific monsters for a dangerous yet adventurous journey to the centre of the earth and back!
